If you’re new here, thank you so much for joining me. I’m a therapist-in-training, and mom of two kiddos. “The Mom Diaries” is a place where I’m doing exploratory research to better understand what friendship in motherhood looks like, and how friendship (or isolation) affects our mental health. “Momffirmations” are my weekly affirmations. Today is a beautiful day to notice the weather.
I am grateful for my beautiful body, and all the ways that she supports my soul.
I am a spiritual being, living an earthly experience.
It is OK to make mistakes. I love you so much, no matter what.
When I take responsibility for my choices, I take back my power.
I am so, wonderfully, full of myself. So full of love for myself, and all the parts of myself.
I can only love others as much as I love myself.
When I have self-compassion for the difficult things I’m going through, it is so much easier for me to have compassion for others.
